長者體適能專家證書課程 Elderly Functional Training Specialist

由於人們現在更健康長壽，對長者體適能教練的需求亦相應提升。這個族群人數不斷上升，他們熱切追求健康，同時具有一定消費力。要成為一名長者體適能教練，必需具備有關的專業知識，了解長者運動時的特定需求及限制，才能為他們設計更優質的運動。

As more people are living longer and seeking to live healthier lives, the demands on fitness professional for the older population continue to grow. This fast-growing population will control most of the wealth and is highly motivated to get and stay healthy. Understanding specific fitness considerations for seniors is imperative to optimizing your older adult clients’ workouts and exercise routines as an Elderly Functional Training Specialist.

課程簡介 Course Outline
1. 長者運動解剖學及運動生理學
2. 了解與老化相關的慢性疾病，以及如何針對這些疾病進行訓練
3. 長者的營養學
4. 長者的體能評估
5. 長者的肌力訓練
6. 長者的心肺功能訓練
7. 長者的柔軔性和靈活性
8. 長者的關節穩定性和平衡訓練
9. 長者的訓練目標設定和激勵技巧
1. Anatomy and exercise physiology of older clients
2. Understanding of chronic conditions associated with ageing and how to incorporate exercise for these conditions.
3. Nutrition for older adults
4. Fitness assessment for older adults
5. Muscular strength and power training for older adult
6. Cardiovascular training for older adult
7. Flexibility and mobility for older adults
8. Joint stability and balance training for older adult
9. Goal Setting and motivation techniques for the older adult

考試合格後，你將會成為長者體適能專家，並獲取NCSF 7個學分 (CEUs) 。
